I've read somewhere that the average homeowner doesn't stay in the home longer than five years. Funny thing averages. We've been here 11 years. Our three closest neighbors were here before we moved in and until last Friday they were all still here.

It's officially goose Spring; I found the first goose egg of the season. Around here Spring isn't based off of a date on the calendar, it's whenever the geese start laying and lasts till they stop.

Americans launched into space, from America, on a rocket built in America, by a private American spacecraft company. Hubby and I watched with the boy.

I filmed Mocha and Peanut having a shower and posted it to various social medias.

My newest 2000 piece puzzle arrived. It will be the second in the stack on the main puzzle table.

Charlie is wonderful and we loves him.

Finger signing to help the girls study showed me how stiff my right hand can become.

C and I are trying to make a daily habbit of walking Pete.

H's future roomate came by to meet Charlie, so C gave her the chance to hold a chicken and pet a goose.

Our oldest duck, Fang, the fawn and white runner, died this morning. It's sad, but did not come as a total shock. She had been slowing down over the past week. She was the last of our ducks born before the great duck slaughter of 2015.

The goose house is finished and the babies spent their first night outside last night. We officially gave them the white goose since her presence seems to calm them. Even though she still hates my guts, I don't think her feelings will rub off on the babies ( Read more... )
